The Story of the Sunflower
Anyone who gets a tour of my house gasps when they walk into my bedroom and see the giant sunflower that stops them in their tracks.
It is so large and so powerful it holds the space in there. My room is my only peaceful oasis with 3 sons! There is a noticeably different energy in my bedroom than the vibe of kid mayhem that permeates the rest of the house, God love em : )
When I originally painted the sunflower all that I heard from the divine was that sunflowers carry a vibe of deeply satiating Bliss/Joy type energy! It didn’t occur to me to ask for more. What more could you want than bliss right?” However, last night during meditation group God went a little deeper on the subject. What I didn’t realize until now is that we limit our own access to joy by blocking it with past memories, beliefs and rules surrounding when and under what circumstances we will allow our selves to feel joyful.
The sunflower’s true gift is its ability to tune your dial to the joy vibe just like that! Any other state is just a matter of the past or future haunting your NOW anyway. Luckily sunflowers emanate an energy that gently soothes irritations, or disharmonies and lifts spirits! Remembering joy, desiring joy, focusing on joy, requesting joy from the universe, allowing joy and looking for evidence of things to be joyful about and of course meditating on joy are all excellent ways to harmonize your cells and energy with the feeling and experience true happiness!
Only your own memories and beliefs block you from allowing your happiness. The most important thing we can do to change our world is stay in our joy vibe. Then we attract joyful things that resonate with that vibe! There is no better time than now to begin Ho’oponoponoing away everything standing between you and your bliss! Let sunflowers serve their divine purpose reminding you to smile and let nothing stand in the way of your happiness!
