About Aimee

I was born for a 5 dollar linen charge at Fort Stewart in Savannah Georgia, but the little island of North Hero in Lake Champlain is where I was blessed to grow up. Lake Champlain is in the north east corner of Vermont. The sun sets in New York for us across the lake and the Canadian border is ten minutes to the north. Eight generations of my father’s family are from North Hero. My father and sister’s family still live in the original farmhouse that looks a lot like the Walton’s house.

My little sister, brother and I went to the teeny little elementary school on the island, 50 some odd kids in 1st through 8th grades. From there we went to Essex Junction High school over the drawbridge and through the woods all the way into town. Finally, I graduated from what was then a funky little private alternative college overlooking the lake called Burlington College.

I have consumed all manner of questionable things in the name of health and healing from raw juiced baby potatoes to mainstream allopathic drugs.  My lifelong pursuit to stop the excruciating migraine pain in my head led me to Taos New Mexico where ALTITUDE ended up stopping the 35 year long pain! Barometric pressure shifts are my trigger, so living here at just over 7000 feet where the pressure is stable and the weather is on the dry side has miraculously reduced me from 355 migraine days a year down to 2 or 3 total! It is unbelievable to finally be a pain free person here! Altitude is a beautiful blessed band aid while I continue to search for a CURE! Please, please, please leave comments with any cures you know work!

Painting has been an all consuming love of mine since I could hold a paint brush. I paint in water colors and oils most comfortably and am exploring acrylics to expand the fun!

Until fairly recently I assumed that some sort of hormone imbalance was the reason I run so much energy, however, in the last few years many people have crossed my path who understand the human bio electric field! Over and over I’m told “You have the gift of healing; it comes through your hands and your eyes. It comes from your heart. You came here with an important purpose, to spread love.”

Marry healing hands with watercolor painting and the result is powerfully healing images! Not only does my energy infuse my paintings, I paint with holy blue solar water and repeat the ho’oponopono prayer until I get in the Zone. After a little while inspiration takes over and I guess I step out of the way like a day dream. Georges lakovsky proved in the 20’s that our physical health begins in our bioelectric field (our energy/emotional body). We have to change our feelings to change our physical experience.

The power of prayer was quantified by David Lapinski. And Emoto has studied the power of intention to change water. An explanation for how Healing Paintings can come to be lay somewhere between those scientists findings and the work of folks like Edward Bach (Bach Flower Essences early 1900’s) and Dr. Hahneman in the (founder of Homeopathy late 1700’s).

People swear they see angels in the blue bonnets. I hope to see them some day! It has been amazing to hear the stories of how these paintings have shifted people’s lives!

As an experiment I have been wearing a teeny version of the strawberry in a pendant as a necklace to see what happens… Many people have written in about the miraculous events they have experienced as a result of wearing the bluebonnet as a necklace! There is definitely a difference in the quality of my experience wearing the necklace but I am not sure if it has to do with the expectation that I am holding, looking for love around every corner or not; or if it is even important to know which came first the chicken or the egg.

Sometimes life passes gently and sweetly along and sometimes its more often like a blow to the head or a geyser. Anything that helps bring more sweetness has got to be a good thing! If my art helps you to manage the ride of ecstatic ups and incapacitating downs I am honored and would love to hear about! I am truly grateful for the love and support of my friends, family and customers and am doing my very best to honor this artful healing process.

Much Love,

Aimee
